GREEN BAY, Wis. (WSAU) -- A Green Bay area cheese manufacturer is moving into a new factory downtown.
Schreiber Foods has worked out of six different locations around the Green Bay area, and will be opening up a new, consolidated plant Monday morning. The new facility is a 250,000 square foot plant that cost the company $85 million dollars to build. The company will be moving all 700 employees to the plant which will produce cream cheese and other processed dairy products.
Green Bay officials are hoping the new construction will spur downtown business growth.
