Kimberly woman needs to write some big checks

Kimberly, WI (WTAQ) - A woman who allegedly hit a highway worker with her car during an argument is now the owner of three tickets. 

The incident happened Wednesday morning at the intersection of E. Kennedy Ave. and Hwy. N in Kimberly.

Police say workers from the highway department had just laid asphalt when the woman wanted to drive through.

Two workers tried to stop her, she argued and kept going, bumping one of them with her car to try to get the worker out of her way.

She then drove through the construction zone, damaging the road.

Police caught up with Patricia Carlson, and left her with tickets totaling nearl $1200.
