MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WSAU) -- A large Wisconsin construction company has an extra set of eyes on their business as part of a court settlement.

Neenah based Miron Construction Company will have an outside accountant named Stephen VanderBloemen watching over their bidding and billing practices as part of a court settlement announced in April. In the settlement, Miron admitted no wrongdoing, but the court felt their practice of inflating school district prices for wages and transferring costs from less-profitable jobs to more-profitable jobs was unacceptable.

Several schools are getting money back from building projects, including DC Everest in the Wausau/Weston area, Marathon, and Abbotsford. About four-million dollars will be returned to the affected districts.
