Metallica has been added to lineup of artists that will perform at this year’s Grammy Awards. While the band hasn’t revealed what they’ll be playing, producers for the event have announced the guys will take the stage with Grammy Cultural Ambassador to China, pianist Lang Lang .
The performance marks the first time Metallica has played on the Grammy stage in 23 years. The band’s last appearance was at the 33rd Grammy Awards back in 1991, the same year their iconic record Metallica, a.k.a. The Black Album , was released.
