KAUKAUNA, WI (WTAQ) - A Wisconsin manufacturer is expanding and adding jobs in the Fox Valley.
PolyFlex has agreed to build a 59,000 square foot building just off Highway 41 in Kaukauna.
"We are acutely aware that the health of our local economy depends on the revenues produced by manufacturers like PolyFlex to sustain and grow the tax base that is essential for the provision of municipal services," Kaukauna Mayor Gene Rosin said in a statement.
The Walworth-based company makes large plastic parts for a variety of industries including transportation and waste collection. It's expected to add about 40 workers at the new facility.
"The decision of PolyFlex to locate its new facility in Kaukauna represents the first industry attraction success for the Fox Cities Regional Partnership," said Fox Cities Regional Partnership Executive VP Larry Burkhardt in a statement. "The Regional Partnership worked with representatives of the City of Kaukauna to explain and market the city's advantages throughout the company's due diligence process."
PolyFlex hopes to break ground next month.
