THERESA, WI (WTAQ) - It was five years ago Tuesday when a newborn baby was found in a garbage bag in a secluded part of Dodge County.

The girl is still known as "Baby Theresa", named after the area where she was found because there continues to be no trace of her mother.

Authorities gave the infant a proper burial, and a number of community residents attended.

Officials said the baby had no trauma which could have caused her death -- and no drugs were found in her system.

The state Crime Lab has a DNA profile of the baby's mother, but they don't know who she is because there's not a match in the state's database of convicted felons and sex offenders.

Nearby residents have been ruled out as relatives.

Officials still hope the baby's mother still comes forward. A Jane Doe warrant remains active for hiding a corpse.
