MILWAUKEE (WTAQ) - A 76-year-old man pleaded not guilty Monday to a homicide charge, after he allegedly killed his blind wife of 56 years because she nagged him too much.

Jack Lang of Oak Creek waived his preliminary hearing in Milwaukee County Circuit Court, and he entered his plea during an arraignment.

Lang called 911 on April 16th to report that he shot his wife June in the face with a 22-caliber weapon.

Investigators quoted him as saying that he loved his wife, but he had enough of the nagging she imposed on him for weeks.

He's charged with first-degree intentional homicide.
