WASHINGTON, D.C. (WSAU) -- The U.S. House of Representatives passed a federal budget Tuesday with Republican support, but like most House budgets, it’s doomed in the Senate.
Republican Congressman Sean Duffy spoke on the House floor Thursday, urging Democrats to start supporting budgets that balance...NWS 9749 :16 sec. “...this job done.”“We passed a budget that is again going to balance in ten years. The bottom line is we can’t do it by ourselves. If you look to the President, who introduces budgets that never, ever, ever balance and you look to the Democrats in the Senate, they don’t even introduce budgets, we can’t get this job done.”
Duffy made his comments in support of the plan authored by Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan.
