OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) - A man pled no contest to a homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle charge for a fatal crash.

Jeremy Derks will be sentenced May 9 in Winnebago County court.

Police say Derks failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Highway 21 and Reighmoor Road in the town of Omro last May. Derks' vehicle slammed into another vehicle, killing the passenger Richard Bielinski.

Three other charges were dismissed as part of the plea deal but will be considered at sentencing.
