CHILTON, WI (WTAQ) - Police have issued two citations to a teenage driver who caused a fatal traffic crash last summer.

Authorities say then 16-year-old Courtney Breit lost control of her SUV and slammed into a vehicle driven by 52-year-old Blair Knepful. It happened on Irish Road in the town of Brillion. 

Knepful died at the scene.

The citations issued were for inattentive driving (a $389.50 fine) and speeding (a $225.70 fine). Online court documents indicate she was traveling 79 mph in a 55 mph zone. If she doesn't pay the citations, a March 25 court date is scheduled. 

No criminal charges are expected.
