Winter storm making for messy travel arrives in NE Wisconsin Sunday

GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - A winter storm is making its way into Northeast Wisconsin today, starting around Noon.

FOX 11 reports the snow will move in this afternoon, with accumulations between 3 and 5 inches north of Green Bay, while Green Bay and the Fox Cities will see between 2 and 4 inches.

Starting this evening from Green Bay to the Fox Cities expect snow to change to or be mixed with sleet and freezing rain. Roads could get very icy! 

Overnight snow will be possible in the far Northwoods. Green Bay should see sleet and freezing rain, the Fox Cities will see freezing rain mixed with rain showers.

Icy roads are possible this afternoon and tonight across most of Wisconsin and into Iowa and Illinois.  Travel will be hazardous.
