Police release information on Jan. 5th west side Green Bay shooting, 4 hospitalized

GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - Green Bay Police are releasing more information about a targeted shooting that injured four men on January 5th.

Police say they cannot determine if the suspects knew the identities of all the victims in the car, so to protect the victims and their families we will not be releasing their names at this time.

Police say they are looking for two shooters who fired at a car the victims were sitting in at 108 North Ashland Avenue on the city's Westside.

The victims were African American males between the ages of 17 and 23. Two of the victims are residents of Green Bay and the other two are from Chicago.

Police says the victims were targeted do not have information to believe that the public is in danger.

Police are looking for a newer model red SUV that the shooters fled in. It was waiting for them in the 100 block of North Maple Avenue. The driver was a possible female.

Police released surveillance video from an area gas station of a red SUV and an African American male who police are calling a person of interest.
