DE PERE, WI (WTAQ) - People in De Pere got a chance Monday to see the debut of a big improvement to the city's Riverwalk.
The latest phase is a wildlife viewing pier.
Mayor Mike Walsh, who led visitors on a tour, says it's a great place to watch fish spawning in the spring.
"We've got a tremendous crowd here, this is really the crowning jewel of the entire project and we're so excited that we wanted to get people out here to be able to see it, even though it is a little windy, a little cold,” Walsh told FOX 11.
The second phase of the project is the fishing pier. It's expected to be done in February, which will complete the project.
