FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ) - The man accused of ordering his dog to attack a teenager he believed had stolen from him has a new trial date.
Richard Lisko was in Fond du Lac County court earlier this week for his trial, but a mistrial was declared during jury selection. Lisko's new trial date is May 20th.
Lisko believed that Joel Kennedy Jr. stole drugs, money and coins from him. So he and Joel Kennedy Sr. allegedly tied up the younger Kennedy. Lisko then allegedly commanded his dog, an Argentine Mastiff, to attack the teen.
Kennedy Sr. is scheduled to be sentenced Thursday on convictions for false imprisonment, substantial battery and other charges.
