Thom Yorke recently announced via Twitter that he'd be performing with "two turntables & a microphone" in London, Berlin and in New York, accompanied by longtime Radiohead producer/engineer Nigel Godrich . Now, the singer has revealed that those concerts will serve as celebrations for the release of Atoms for Peace ’s debut album, Amok , which arrives in stores on February 26.
Each of the events will feature DJ sets by Yorke and Godrich, along with a special guests Actress and Throwing Snow in London on February 22, and Shed and Anstam in Berlin on March 8. Guest DJ’s for the New York City concert, which will take place on March 14 at Le Poisson Rouge, have yet to be announced.
