ADAMS COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) - A Stevens Point man is due in court a week from Monday, after being accused of threatening a woman with a gun last spring in Adams County.
30-year-old Otis Kopstein was charged last week with first-degree reckless endangerment, and possessing a firearm as a convicted felon.
Prosecutors said the man pointed a 45-caliber handgun at a woman and threatened her last May. The victim told authorities that Kopstein fired a shot outside the door before pointing the weapon at her.
Online court records show that Kopstein is also currently facing charges of armed robbery and disorderly conduct in Portage County. That case is about a year old.
