In addition to being band mates, Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams , guitarist Taylor York and bassist Jeremy Davis are a close-knit group of friends. Williams says while the band spends quite a lot of time together when they’re out on tour, it can be pretty tough to celebrate the holidays together.
“Jeremy lives way out in the country, I live not too far from that, and then Taylor lives way out in Nashville,” she tells ABC News Radio. “It’s definitely…harder than it was when we were younger and we would just hang out non-stop from the minute we got home until the next tour. But yeah, we play it by ear, we go to movies sometimes, go to eat.”
Williams adds the band always makes memories whenever they hang out between tours and recording sessions. “Taylor went with me to get a tattoo last time we were home for a really long time, and then I got sick from it, and we had to go have a dinner after that so I could replenish myself,” she reveals. “But that was a good memory, that was a fun hang.”
Paramore is on a break from the road now for the holidays, but the band members will get to spend time together again in early January when they embark on a tour of Australia and New Zealand.
