Bob Mould 's Workbook turns 25 next year, and the former Hüsker Dü frontman has revealed he’ll be celebrating the milestone with a deluxe reissue of his debut solo album, due in stores on February 25.
Titled Workbook 25 , the compilation boasts two CDs that includes the original album, the B-side “All Those People Know” and a live recording of Mould’s 1989 performance at Cabaret Metro in Chicago, IL.
Mould will also launch a brief tour in support of Workbook 25 , during which the singer and bassist Jason Narducy will perform selected tracks from Workbook and other songs from his catalog. That outing begins on February 27 at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, CA as part of the Noise Pop Festival, and will make stops in Chicago; Minneapolis; Washington, D.C.; and New York.
