LA CROSSE, WI (WSAU) - What’s a big mug of beer without a big brat topped with sauerkraut? La Crosse’s Octoberfest is underway, and they’ve got a brat that’s more than a handful. This bratwurst is so big, it was named B-52. The bursting wurst is 65 pounds and is six feet long.

Award winning La Crosse-based Bakalars Sausage Company made the super sausage as part of a fundraising project with the American Legion. They’re selling it in much smaller pieces with proceeds helping children and local veterans.
