CHILTON, WI (WTAQ) - One of the men convicted in a 2011 beating death in Calumet County has learned his fate.
35-year-old James Loewe of Hilbert was sentenced Tuesday to 40 years in prison and 20 years extended supervision.
Back in May, Loewe pled no contest to a reduced charge of first-degree reckless homicide in the death of Joseph Baer.
Another man, Robert Saurbeir, was also sentenced to 40 years in prison for his role in the beating.
