KIEL, WI (WTAQ) - Police in Kiel say an armed man stole cash and cigarettes from a gas station Sunday night.

Cops say it happened at the Kiel Mobile, 84 East Park Avenue, just after 11 p.m.

The suspect walked in with a hammer, demanded money, and ran off with an undetermined amount of cash and several cartons of cigarettes.

The robber is described as between 25 and 35 years old, about 6'1" with a medium build. He was wearing a heavy, dark blue winter coat with the hood pulled up and a dark scarf or bandana across the lower half of his face. He wore black winter gloves, black jeans and tennis shoes.
