The Wisconsin TimberRattlers are the 2012 Midwest League Champions. The Rattlers defeated the Fort Wayne TinCaps 4-2 in Indiana Sunday to take the championship series three games to one. Max Walla's solo home run game the T-Rats and early 2-0 lead but Fort Wayne got even. Nick Ramirez delivered a tie-breaking, two run double in the top of the 7th inning and the pitching made it stand up. It's the first tite for the TimberRattlers franchise. The last championship won by a valley team was back in 1984 by the Appleton Foxes.
