MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ) - A woman has agreed to a plea deal in a drunk driving case that led to the deaths of three family members in Manitowoc.

The judge accepted the agreement for 44-year-old Becky Holly. Holly pled no contest to 3 counts of killing someone while driving intoxicated.

Authorities say Holly was driving drunk last October when her mini van veered off the road, into a yard, hitting and killing Lawrence Gerroll, his wife Lou Ann and their daughter Joan.

Officials say Holly's six-year-old son was also in the vehicle while she was driving. He was injured.

The Gerolls were standing in the yard of one of their family members when the crash happened. Police say Holly's blood-alcohol content was nearly twice the legal limit at the time of the crash.

“I'm pleased that we were able to reach this resolution,” Mark Rohrer, the Manitowoc County District Attorney, told FOX 11. The resolution wipes away seven other criminal charges.

Family members of the Gerolls are pleased with the deal.

“I think it's best for the whole family to not have to go through the trial,” said Matt Gerroll, the son and brother of the victims.

The state is recommending Holly spend 20 years in prison with up to 18 years of extended supervision. As part of the plea agreement, Holly will remain on house arrest until her sentencing date on December 4th
