Ozzy Osbourne is planning to bring some heavy-metal madness to Japan in 2013, as the hard-rocking festival will visit the Far East for the first time this spring. Ozzfest Japan will be held on May 11 and May 12 at the Makuhari Messe, a convention in the Tokyo area.
In a recently released video message announcing the event, Ozzy's wife and manager, Sharon Osbourne , says, "We are so excited. Please be there, 'cause we love you, Japan."
The lineup has yet to be announced for the extravaganza. However, in a recent radio interview, Sharon Osbourne revealed that Black Sabbath plans to tour Australia in the spring after the band finishes recording its new studio album, so it seems like a good bet to assume the metal legends will take part in Ozzfest Japan, as well.
