It seems that Interpol frontman Paul Banks isn’t a fan of school. At least, that the impression he gives in the new video for “ Young Again ,” from his recently-released solo album, Banks .
The storyline follows the singer as he walks his children to school and spends some time with their teachers and fellow students. Banks doesn’t seem thrilled to be roaming the halls of the school especially after he’s tripped by one of his kids’ classmates. The singer eventually gets his revenge at the end of the clip where he pounds all the kids with dodgeballs in the gym.
In other Interpol news, the band is set to release a 10th anniversary deluxe edition of their debut studio album, Turn On the Bright Lights , on December 3. In addition to a remastered version of the original Turn On the Bright Lights album, the deluxe edition will include a number of previously-unreleased demos and B-sides. The two-CD set also boasts a DVD that contains live footage from the band’s concerts at NYC’s Mercury Lounge in May of 2000, and at The Troubadour in Los Angeles in September 2002, as well as music videos for singles “PDA,” “NYC,” and “Obstacle 1.″
