Things have been fairly quiet from the Black Sabbath camp since the band played the last of its three scheduled 2012 reunion shows at the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago on August 3. Now comes word that the heavy metal legends are back in the studio working on their new album.
On Tuesday, the band posted a message on its official website , Twitter account and Facebook page announcing they were recording a new song that day. The Facebook and Twitter notes were accompanied by a photo showing the rockers' equipment set up and ready for action.
As previously reported, Black Sabbath has been moving forward with its recording project without founding drummer Bill Ward , who pulled out of the band's reunion activities because he was unhappy with the terms of the contract he was offered.
