Metallica will be making their sixth appearance at Brazil’s annual Rock in Rio festival in 2013. The band revealed the news on their official website , writing that they’re “super psyched” be one of the headliners for the event, which takes place in Rio de Janeiro from September 13-22, 2013.

In addition, festival organizers have revealed that Iron Maiden and Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will also be headlining the event. More performers are expected to be announced soon.
