The Vines frontman Craig Nicholls was arrested on Saturday after he allegedly assaulted his parents and a police officer at his house in Sydney, Australia. The Sydney Morning Herald is reporting that Nicholls, who suffers from Asperger's syndrome, “punched his mother twice in the head” and engaged in a “violent struggle” with police when they arrived on the scene.
Nicholls was subdued with pepper spray, arrested and charged with “two counts of domestic assault, stalking or intimidation, resisting arrest and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.” The singer is expected to appear before a judge on Wednesday.
