KIMBERLY, WI (WTAQ) - A Wausau-area man was arrested in the Fox Valley after police say he confronted his ex-wife with a loaded gun and threatened to kill her.

Fox Valley Metro police say they were called to a home on Kramer Lane around 9:20 a.m. Wednesday and took 51-year-old Russell Ostrowski of Hatley into custody.

Police say Ostrowski's ex-wife used pepper spray to subdue him and eventually persuaded Ostrowski to give up the gun.

No one was hurt.

Ostrowski is jailed on a $50,000 cash bond and is facing multiple charges.
