No Doubt has settled a lawsuit it brought against video game maker Activision in 2009 over the use of the band members' likenesses in the game Band Hero , according to The Hollywood Reporter .
No Doubt alleged Activision breached its contract with the group by allowing players to use the band's avatars in the game to perform songs by other artists, without their permission. As an example, the lawsuit cites the ability for players to have a Gwen Stefani avatar sing the suggestive lyrics in The Rolling Stones ' "Honky Tonk Women."
The terms of the settlement have not been disclosed.
