Yeah Yeah Yeahs have announced a benefit concert in New York City to offer relief to those affected by Hurricane Sandy. The show will take place on December 8 at Brooklyn’s Union Pool beginning at 7 p.m. ET. Higgins Waterproof Black Magic Band , a side project of TV on the Radio frontman Tunde Adebimpe , will be the opening act for Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
Tickets for the concert range between $75 and $100 and are available now at Brown Paper Tickets . All proceeds from the show will go to Waves for Water , a non-profit organization that will provide help to “families and businesses of the surf communities that were wiped out” by Hurricane Sandy.
