APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) - Officials with the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center have unveiled a $25 million fundraising campaign to help pay for future improvements and maintenance needs.
The PAC made the announcement Friday, but contends it has privately been underway since 2010. So far, the PAC has raised over $17 million towards that goal.
PAC President Susan Stockton says the timing was right for the Keystone Campaign. She says the PAC is now 10 years old and will need ongoing maintenance and improvements to stay competitive in the industry.
Stockton adds the PAC currently does not have any issues, but says it recently underwent some renovations for the 10 year anniversary that included new lighting, replacing furniture and adding digital signage throughout the building.
Stockton says they hope to wrap up the Keystone Campaign by June 30, 2014. Donors of at least $5,000 will be added to the Keystone Donor Wall of Honor.
