Muse has released a lyrics video for their next single, " Follow Me ," from their recently-released album, The 2nd Law . In the four-minute clip, the lyrics to the song appear on the screen as psychedelic lights and images flash around them.

Frontman Matt Bellamy has said that the track was inspired by a trip to the doctor’s office with his then-pregnant wife, Kate Hudson .  “A couple of days before Kate gave birth [to Bingham ] we went for a check-up and I recorded [my baby’s heartbeat] on my iPhone as I thought it was an amazing sound,” Bellamy told U.K. newspaper The Sun .  “Then I wrote the lyrics about wanting to lead and protect, all the feelings that having a kid evokes.”
