Norichika Aoki delivered a go ahead, run scoring triple in the top of the ninth inning as the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Cleveland Indians 6-5 in Cactus League action Monday. Ryan Braun, hitting only .120 this spring, had two RBI's on a hit and a groundout and starter Chris Narveson pitched 6 1/3 innings, allowing five hits and four runs.
The Brewers and catcher Jonathan Lucroy have agreed to terms on a new five year contract worth a reported 11 million dollars. Lucroy had two years left on his original deal but that was ripped up in favor of the new contract. The deal gives Lucroy some financial security and also protects the Brewers, keeping their starting catcher under contract through the first two years of his arbitration eligibility.
