BELLEVUE, WI (WTAQ) - Brown County Sheriff’s says they have made an arrest and recovered two assault rifles that were stolen from a Mill’s Fleet Farm in November. Authorities were called out to a trailer home in the 3000 block Turquoise Trail in Bellevue Thursday night, for a man who was threatening to harm himself. However, another person in the home had hidden the weapon he was planning to use and eventually handed it over to authorities when they arrived. Turns out it was one of the tactical rifles stolen. Sheriff’s arrested Erick Ortiz possession of stolen property and robbery. The other stolen assault rifle was found inside the home. The two weapons, a Huldra Mark IV 5.56 Tactical Elite rifle and Huldra Mark IV 5.56x39 Carbine rifle, were valued at $2,600.
