The former child star has been dating businessman Olivier Sarkozy, the politician's younger half-brother, for around a month, according to New York Post gossip column Page Six.

The publication reports the rumoured couple was seen together in New York's Hamptons over the public holiday weekend and are ""head over heels"" for one another.

Sarkozy, 42, who goes by the name 'Oliver', is divorced with two children, while Olsen, 25, previously dated artist Nate Lowman for two years before their split in 2010.
