GRAND CHUTE, WI (WTAQ) - Police in Grand Chute need the public's help finding a man involved in an attempted armed robbery Friday.

Cops say it happened in the parking lot of David's Bridal, 4625 West Michaels Drive.

A woman was walking to her car when the attempted robbery took place.

The suspect had a weapon and tried to rob the woman by taking her purse. There was a brief struggle, in which the woman sustained minor injuries. The suspect then ran away.

Police say a similar incident happened in the same parking lot in June. Officials are not sure if the two events are related.

The suspect is described as a middle-aged dark skinned male, who wore khaki cargo shorts and a navy blue t-shirt.
