ThyssenKrupp sale completed to KPS Capital Partners

WAUPACA, WI (WTAQ) - A private equity firm from New York has completed its purchase of an iron foundry business that’s based in Waupaca.

KPS Capital Partners is now the owner of ThyssenKrupp – and it has re-named the firm as the Waupaca Foundry.

The company provides metals for the auto, agriculture, industrial, and construction markets. It has 3,500 employees at three foundries in Waupaca and one in Marinette.

The firm also has plants in Etowah Tennessee and Tell City Indiana.
