This weekend, Magic Mike braves theaters telling a story of a small-town stripper who just wanted to make tables. Yeah, that's the case at hand. The ab-solutely wonderful Channing Tatum plays an exotic dancer with a passion for creating furniture. And while tables are important — odds are, you're using one of them right now! — this isn't exactly the kind of ""shoot for your dreams"" subplot you'd usually find in a Hollywood film.

But then again, Magic Mike's hero isn't the only movie character with a bizarre secret fantasy.
