OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) - Investigators with the Winnebago County Sheriff's Department are looking into a pair of mailbox bombs discovered Thursday.
Sheriff's responded to a home on Black Wolf Avenue in the Town of Black Wolf around 10 p.m. for a report of an explosive device in a mailbox.
Lt. William Anthes says the Brown County bomb squad was called in and they disposed of the device.
Earlier that evening, another incident involving a mailbox that was destroyed by an explosive device was discovered. That happened on Country Club Road, which intersects Black Wolf Avenue.
Anthes says no one was injured and no arrests have been made.
