GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - Wisconsin's January warm spell will continue for at least one more day.

No record highs were set Monday in the Badger State. But the National Weather Service says a few records could be broken Tuesday, as temperatures will again be 20 to 25 degrees above normal.

Highs in the mid-40's are expected in northern Wisconsin, with 50's in the south and west.

French Island at La Crosse had 52 Monday, but most of the state had steady winds of up to 20 miles an hour. They subsided Monday night.

A cold front is supposed to move in Wednesday. Highs on Thursday might not get out of the 20's anywhere in Wisconsin. A few inches of snow are possible on Thursday, and cooler temperatures are expected for the weekend.
