DE PERE, WI (WTAQ) - Police say an investigation is almost finished into the killings of people members of a De Pere family. And the only things pending are toxicology tests to determine what was in the victims’ systems. Police Chief Derek Beiderwieden said autopsies confirmed what investigators first thought – that Denis Bay shot-and-killed wife Michelle, 14-year-old Andrea, and 10-year-old Daniel before turning the gun on himself. It happened last Friday afternoon in De Pere, a few miles south of Green Bay. Court records showed that the couple had a divorce pending. A memorial of stuffed animals, flowers, and mementos is formed at a stop sign near the family’s home. The police chief said Michelle Bay and the two youngsters were shot multiple times, and Denis Bay died from a single gunshot wound.
