Veteran bassist James LoMenzo , who has played with Megadeth , White Lion and Black Label Society , is headed to reality TV. LoMenzo has signed on to be a part of the cast for the 21st season of CBS’s The Amazing Race , set to debut on September 30 at 8 p.m. ET. The bassist will travel the world with his friend, entertainment lawyer Mark "Abba" Abbattista .

The duo will be competing against 10 other teams for the show’s biggest cash prize yet. In a new twist, if the team that wins the first leg of the race also takes the final leg, they'll get $2 million, rather than the standard $1 million grand prize.
