Harmonix, creator of the Rock Band video game franchise, will be releasing a new game called Rock Band Blitz later this month.
Rock Band Blitz features 25 playable songs to start, including “These Days” by Foo Fighters , “Spoonman” by Soundgarden and “Diamond Eyes (Boom-Lay, Boom-Lay Boom)” by Shinedown . In addition, the game also features playable tunes by Avenged Sevenfold , Blink-182 , My Chemical Romance , Red Hot Chili Peppers and fun. , and many others.
The gameplay is somewhat similar to Rock Band Unplugged and requires no special instruments.
PlayStation users will be able to purchase Rock Band Blitz on PlayStation Network on August 28, while Xbox users will get their chance to own the game the next day.
