Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee is being threatened with a lawsuit over his 360-degree drum roller coaster.  According to TMZ.com , a Los Angeles engineer named Scott King sent a letter to Mötley Crüe’s lawyers claiming that he pitched the idea for the drum coaster to Lee in 1991, and that the drummer stole his idea.  King says he wants to be compensated for Lee's use of the drum coaster or he'll take the rocker to court.

Mötley Crüe’s attorneys have responded to King, insisting that Lee was never pitched the concept by the engineer and that their ideas are completely different.  A lawsuit has not yet been filed.
