At last, a laugher. The Milwaukee Brewers hammered the Houston Astros at Miller Park Tuesday night 10-1. Aramis Ramirez launched a three run homer in the third, his 13th of the season and Corey Hart hit his 20th of the season, another three run shot in the fifth to give Yovani Gallardo plenty of support to work with. Gallardo pitched seven innings, allowing three hits and just one run, a solo blast from Chris Snyder to pick up his 9th win. The Brewers pounded out 12 hits and drew 8 walks in their 47th victory of the year and second straight over the dreadful Astros (35-70). Houston won just three of 27 games in July. The Brewers send Mike Fiers to the mound Wednesday afternoon as they go for a sweep of the series.
