It is not known how the One Tree Hill star suffered the painful injury, but she posted a photo of her bloody digit on her Twitter.com blog as she waited to have the gash sewed up by medics.

Alongside the picture, she writes, ""Toe broken. I had no idea so much blood could come out of such a tiny appendage! Stitches coming. Cortisone shot to follow. #ouch"".
