1st Quarter:
Denard Robinson rolled out and hit Steve Watson on an 8-yard-touchdown pass to give the Michigan Wolverines an early 7-0 lead against Northwestern.
Northwestern's Kain Colter rushed for a 15-yard-touchdown following a roughing the passer penalty earlier in the drive. The Wildcats and Wolverines are now tied 7-7.
Treyvon Green scores on a 7-yard-run to give the Wildcats a 14-7 lead in the 1st quarter.
2nd Quarter:
Robinson hits Gallon on a 25-yard-touchdown to tie the game 14-14.
The Wolverines continue to struggle on defense as the Wildcats charge down the field ending in a 2-yard touchdown run from Adonis Smith.
Michigan held Northwestern to a field goal as time expired. At the half the Wolverines trail the Wildcats 24-14.
3rd Quarter:
Robinson scores on first possesion of the 2nd half to bring Michigan within 24-21.
Denard Robinson was on the sidelines with an injury when Devin Gardner ran in a 1-yard-touchdown to give the Wolverines a 28-24 lead in the 3rd quarter.
Michael Shaw ran in a 2-yard-touchdown to give the Wolverines a 35-21 lead in the 4th quarter. The Wolverines appear to have finally settled down.
4th Quarter:
Denard Robinson scores on a 5-yard-touchdown run to give the Wolverines a commanding 42-24 lead in the 4th quarter.
