LANSING, Mich (WLMI) There will be no criminal charges filed in connection with a fatal home invasion in Lansing.  Ingham County prosecutors say they will not pursue charges against a 64-year old homeowner who shot and killed 28-year old Jeston Lawrence to death on January 8th.  Lawrence was apparently intoxicated when he pushed his way into an apartment along Georgetown Boulevard, assaulted the couple who lived there and was told several times to leave.  When he didn’t—the homeowner shot him once at close-range.  Lawrence died at the scene.  Prosecutors say the man acted in self-defense.
