EAGLE RIVER, Wis (WSAU) Snowmobile trails in Eagle River will open at noon today. They're the first trails in the state that are ready for the winter season.
About 100 miles of trails have been groomed and are ready for use.
The Eagle Lake Trail and the Catfish Lake Loop are still closed, because the ice isn't thick enough for water-crossings yet.
